National Charity League, Inc. (NCL, Inc.) is a national organization of mothers and daughters. The mothers are called Patronesses and the daughters are called Ticktockers.
The mission of NCL, Inc. is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to :
- community service
- development and cultural experiences.
Your membership in The Evergreen Chapter of NCL, Inc. and participation in our program, the NCL, Inc. Experience (Six-Year Plan), will offer opportunities to participate in community service, leadership and cultural experiences. It is our hope that our daughters will develop a greater appreciation of the community values and ideals that our generation holds to be important and worthy of preservation.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Mercer Island is fortunate to have a large number of community service oriented women. Thus, there are two NCL, Inc. Chapters on our island; Evergreen Chapter of NCL, Inc. and the Lake Washington Chapter of NCL, Inc.
The membership drive is just around the corner! We are recruiting mothers-daughters from the class of 2024 (current 6th graders). Our goal is to recruit 24-28 ticktockers who will be fantastic additions to our chapter. We are looking for members who will embrace the three pillars of our chapter: philanthropy, leadership and culture, and plan to commit for six years.
January 9th, 2018, 7-8pm – Information Night at the Mercer Island Community Center with Lake Washington Chapter. All prospective members (mothers of class of 2024) are welcome, but patronesses are asked NOT to attend.
January 11th – Legacy Forms due, otherwise legacies will be treated as all applicants and subject to a draw. Complete your initial Legacy Information Form using the following link:
January 12th – February 1st – Membership Drive. Forms will be available on January 12th under ADMIN > Membership Management
Who can sponsor potential members?
